Smylr was born when the two Omar's, both dental students, witnessed a frustrating reality while shadowing and working at dental clinics: dental professionals spending countless hours on administrative tasks instead of focusing on patient care.
Together with software engineer Obay, they recognized this as a problem that technology could solve.
Combining the two Omar's deep understanding of dental practice workflows with Obay's technical expertise, they decided to build a solution. Smylr represents their shared vision of using AI to eliminate administrative burden, allowing dentists to do what they love most: caring for patients.
